Our method engineering department at Stord is now looking for a Method Engineer - Mechanical.

What will you be doing?

• Establish, update and maintain construction methods and sequences
• Identify mechanical equipment that may be preinstalled. Coordinate against plan, engineering and procurement
• Prepare constructability documents and implement construction and HSE friendly design
• Contribute to establishment of schedules
• Follow up and verify that methods are reflected in project schedules
• Participate in design reviews, focus on constructability
• Organize and lead meetings as required
• Ensure involvement from the project’s personnel in development of construction methods
• Give input to lessons learned reports and workshops, give input to improvement of routines and procedures
• Communicate and collaborate with all areas within Method discipline, Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Construction engineering and Construction
• Site Allocation of equipment

We think you should have:

• 3-5 years of experience within Oil & Gas onshore and offshore and/or renewables
• Relevant Bachelor or Masters' degree
• Fluent in Norwegian and excellent knowledge of English both verbally and written
• IT knowledge and Software Skills: E3D, MS Office 365
• Structured and systematic
• Team player, proactive and service minded
