Are you passionate about sales through partners, for networks, for the development of distribution channels, and do you want to be part of our strong growth in the DIY market in the Nordic region?

As our new Key Account Manager for Scandinavia, you will have an exciting role, a large commercial responsibility with a Nordic cooperation with both partners and colleagues, as well as the opportunity to work with market-leading local brands such as LK and ELKO.

Your important tasks as our new Nordic KAM

As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for the Nordic business plan for Schneider Electric in the DIY market. This includes all stakeholders, the entire value chain, and the market and competitor overview. You will make a strong commercially based plan prioritizing our activities in this market.

You work closely with the Nordic VP, and you define the specific initiatives with the country-responsible VP. You take ownership and responsibility at the Nordic level, and you will support at the local level in the individual countries.

The customers are primarily the retails stores that sell our products to the DIY segment. You establish and build new Nordic partnerships to be implemented in the local markets in each of the Nordic countries.

Your primary tasks

  • Create a comprehensive Nordic business plan for the DIY Market with a focus on key players, value chains and recommendations for focus areas
  • Align the business and activity plan with Business VPs. Ensure clearly defined ownership and decision on interaction from the Nordic level to the local market: Responsibility, activities, plans, goals, follow-up, direct/indirect sales, etc.
  • Choose 3-5 main customers to establish a good relation ensuring a Nordic buy-in and a good framework for the Nordic countries
  • Define key offerings in line with our long-term plan and strategy for growth in the market
  • Secure marketing budget and activities
  • Work with the countries on the local DIY setup to strengthen the Nordic co-operation and create a plan for attracting national and local DIY stakeholders
  • Create strong relationships internally with Offer Management, Pricing, Distribution Team, Supply Chain etc.

Who are You?

You are a business developer who wants to be hands-on, you come with a great deal of experience from the DIY market, and preferably with knowledge of the established stakeholders in the Nordic region. You have a commercial education and at least 5 years of sales experience - preferably with partner sales.

The job is commercial, and basically does not require a technical background, but it will be an advantage if you have a technical interest.

Planning and follow-up are important areas for you. You follow up on the agreed and planned activities both internally and externally, and you ensure the coordination across our organization. It is natural for you to use KPI management, and you enjoy close professional relationships with our partners, so we maintain the agreed objectives and develop our joint business.

You are an outgoing team player who is strong at communicating with many different partners, and you can do that in both English and in one of the Scandinavian languages - orally and in writing.
