Shape the Future
You will receive inbound material from outside suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants and field locations. Stocks received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production. Picks materials, components and end products and delivers them to Production or shipping. Performs cycle counts.
As a Material Handler you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with material handling of incoming/outgoing goods and in material planning, supporting with workflows and customer returns
- Using a forklift to assist with duties and other tasks in our warehouse and yard
- Checking incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards
- Organising stock using forklifts/pallets stacker, monitoring inventory levels and suggesting new orders when needed
- Documenting and fulfilling orders, materials and any stock movements
- Being a team player and capable of working well with minimal supervision while following safety procedures
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a valid Forklift Licence
- Have a valid Driving Licence
- Show good experience of working within Logistics, Warehouse or Inventory Management environment
- Be proficient in SAP and Excel
- Demonstrate the ability to be proactive, flexible and a self starter
- Have great organisational and time management skills
