Nordea Corporate & Institutional Banking is a part of Nordea Wholesale Banking. We serve the largest and most complex corporate customers in the Nordic region. Our business is organized in 7 different sectors; Telecom, Media & Technology, Renewable Energy, Energy, oil & gas and oilservices, Merchant and Manufactoring, Construction, Public Sector, and Institutions. The Nordea Graduate Programme focuses on developing your personal and professional skills in a way that enables you to take on the challenges of working for Nordea, the leading financial services group in the Nordic and Baltic Region.

The graduate concept consists of seminars, local business area tracks, mentoring process and value chain stays. As a graduate in one of our business areas you participate in four international seminars, where graduates from different countries and parts of Nordea meet, network and improve their personal skills. The seminars focus on the fundamentals and the business in Nordea. In addition a business track is outlined to make you develop towards a key position and/or a management role. We are now recruiting graduates for 2013 programme; start-up will be from August 2013.

Service on a high level to demanding customers

As a graduate in Nordea Corporate & Institutional Banking Norway (CIB) you will be given a designated position within one of our Industry Segment teams while being enrolled in the Nordea Graduate Programme at the same time.

In CIB you will work in close cooperation with Relationship Managers (RM) and Senior Relationship Managers (SRM) who are responsible for serving Nordea's largest corporate customers, including advisory services and sale of banking products, credit rating and analysis, relationship building in cooperation with other units such as, Markets, Corporate Finance, Credit etc.


CIB`s main goal is to be the best bank in Norway within the large corporate segment, in relation to specific customer satisfaction index and profitability targets, acknowledged for our competent employees, with superior customer attention and quality of service at the centre of their attention.

Pro-activity, drive and commitment, excellent communication skills

You must have a master's degree with excellent results preferably within economics, finance or similar and maximum one year of working experience. You have talent and passion for Financial Markets, want to be part of a winning team and are ready to develop at a high pace from day one. You will be part of a high performing and informal environment where you can learn and be coached by highly skilled colleagues with a variety of competences.

You must bring initiative, be self-driven, good at communicating, creative and with a competitive spirit. You have a positive attitude and you are a strong team player. You have the mind-set to constantly develop and improve. You have excellent skills in English and you are fluent in Norwegian language.
