Our Quality Surveillance team at Tranby is now looking for a Quality Surveillance (QS) Responsible person. Our team consists of 20 professional colleagues, working on large subsea projects executed from Norway to sites in Norway, Brazil, UK, Malaysia and USA. The purpose of the QS Responsible role is to take ownership of required inspections on supplier activities. These tasks are determined by engineering and project requirements, and through analysis of supplier performance. You will be nominated as Quality Surveillance Responsible on the Purchase Order and function as the primary contact for all QS stakeholders.

What will you be doing?
- Be responsible for the supplier Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s) and work with Quality Assurance Specialists to ensure alignment
- Understand and review supplier performance
- Attend pre-production meetings to ensure inspection requirements are understood by all stakeholders and communicated to all relevant inspectors
- Function as a focal point for client and stakeholders in the event of any inspection issues at suppliers
- Support 2nd party inspectors at suppliers for all inspections coordinated by the QS Hub. This includes monitoring quality of inspection reports and NCRs raised as well as providing feedback to Buyer and Supplier Quality Team
- Support suppliers with understanding of AKSO’s quality surveillance requirements
- You will act as Project QS Coordinator for standalone projects, as required
We think you should have:
- 3+ years of experience, preferably, from EPC projects workgin with Quality, Supply Chain, Projects
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent business degree (relevant experience may compensate lack of formal education)
- Solution oriented mindset with the ability to balance a strategic and hands-on approach
- The ability to work independently and to initiate action and influence stakeholders
- Be able to solve problems, seeking solutions through your own as well as other professionals’ expertise
- Above average skills in MS Office
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
