We are looking for a Global Content Editor that will have a key role in telling the story of our role in the energy transition in our internal and external channels. In addition to developing content, we are looking for someone that can manage our company website and be part of developing our digital content strategy. You will be in a core team of six, and you will work closely with the Head of Media & Channels in developing our editorial calendar and strategy and support other team members.
What will you be doing as Global Content Editor?
This is a senior role for a native English speaker (or near native English speaker) that will write for a variety of channels and formats, ranging from press releases, annual reports, op-eds to content for our social media and website. To thrive in this role, you should be someone who really enjoys writing, who can work well with people across the company to develop great stories about our people and our projects, and someone who is able to adjust language and tone to the various formats. Going forward, we will increasingly tell our stories through video, so great if you already know how to make videos, and if not, we expect you to be eager to learn how to create videos for our website and social media.
As Global Content Editor you will be responsible for:
- Producing creative and engaging content for all platforms.
- Write and publish press releases and stock exchange releases.
- Participate in content brainstorms and develop ideas with editorial, social media and video production teams.
- Oversee the day-to-day development, production and distribution of digital content.
- Manage our corporate website akersolutions.com.
- Be responsible for the content management of akersolutions.com.
- Manage Aker Solutions' domain name portfolio.
- Actively use statistics to improve the effectiveness of our different digital communications tools and channels.
The role is a part of the Media and Channels-team, and will be reporting to our Head of Media and Channels.
We think you should have with you:
- A degree within journalism, communication, media, creative writing, etc.
- Extensive experience within communications, working as copywriter/journalist.
- Experience in writing for the web and how to make complex issues easily understood.
- Good understanding of building a brand through storytelling.
- Experience in content management of large corporate websites.
- SEO-writing skills and knowledge about digital communication.
- Experience with corporate communication like reporting, investor relations.
- Experience with content management systems and social collaboration tools, especially Optimizely (EPiServer).
- Experience with analytics tools, preferably Google Analytics and Swoop Analytics.
- Excellent communications skills; native or expert English speaker and writer
Do you also have experience with:
Experience from working in a global organization and structure, managing internal communication and/or channel development and maintenance would be an advancetage in this role.
