Onboarding you to the CompanyAt Nexans our global vision is to electrify the future. At subsea and land systems (SLS) this means designing, engineering, and fabricating the worlds’ best HV cables. It also means having project execution competence, skillset and resources to install and service those cables. In our Nexans Graduate Program you will be recruited by mutual consent to one of our locations; Oslo, Langhus, Sandefjord, Fredrikstad, or Halden.

Getting a flying startAs a Graduate Engineer you will fulfill activities and services related to live engineering tasks. You will learn how to perform product research, design, and analysis. You may participate in improvement projects to further enhance in-house products, tools, and programs. You will join our team in planning and execution of worldwide HV cable projects.

How you make an impactThis Graduate Program will allow you to learn and contribute to the Nexans way -such as engineering methodology and technical standards as well as quality culture and our safety mindset. You will get the platform to enthusiastically participate in-house workshops and training lectures. Over time you will build a strong understanding of Nexans business model, products, and services.
Your starting point when you join:
- Master’s in electrical, renewable, mechanical, marine, subsea, physics, mathematics, materials or geotechnical -engineering.
- Fluency in Norwegian (preferred) and in English, written and oral.
- Some experience from working in technical environments is beneficial.
- You strongly align and identify with Nexans values.
