In Group Compliance’s Regulatory Affairs, we are looking for a Regulatory Relationship Manager to take care of interactions with the local regulators. This exciting position is permanent and located in Oslo, Norway.
A key player in the bank’s regulatory framework
Regulatory Affairs ensures a central coordination of all interactions between the Danske Bank and the regulatory authorities, thereby enabling group-wide alignment and prioritization. As a Regulatory Relationship Manager for Norway, you will be the point of contact for the Norwegian supervisors. You will manage the relationship and enhance the interactions with regulators such as the Norwegian FSA.
As an expert of the Norwegian regulatory framework, you provide regulatory advice to different stakeholders and ensure that the activities are carried out in compliance with the Danske Bank Group’s policies on regulatory interactions. Through your work, you can promote understanding of the value of strong governance model towards the regulators and the role of Regulatory Affairs. You get to facilitate timely reporting and share knowledge and expertise within the Regulatory Affairs team.

Expertise, communication and integrity
To succeed in this role, you will need a good understanding of the Norwegian regulators and regulatory system. In this respect, you will benefit most from experience in a comparable role, previous interaction with the Norwegian FSA or other financial regulators and a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. in law, finance or risk). To interact with the regulators and support the Danske Bank management, you will need strong communication, stakeholder management and drafting skills. In addition to Norwegian, fluency in English is required both in the local and cross-border working environment.
Above all, you have to maintain a high standard of personal conduct and courtesy and act with honesty and integrity in all personal and business dealings. It is in the core of the Group Compliance.
