Vard Design & Engineering is a part of VARD and leading in development of advanced and specialized vessel designs. We are now strengthening our HVAC team within Functional Design, and we are looking for a senior engineer to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities
Are you enthusiastic about engineering and shipbuilding? Join us and you will play an important role in development of new and cutting-edge designs in all VARD segments. HVAC department is responsible for the full design and engineering of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems with an end-to-end approach. We are now looking for a engineer for the following tasks:
- Project coordination / execution
- System design and engineering
- Drawing execution
- Development of technical specifications and procedures
- Develop renewable green energy
Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in engineering (Mechanical/Ship design/Renewable energy)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of English language, both oral and written
Personal qualities
- Maritime industry interest
- Prefer a work environment with variety and high speed
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good cooperation and communication skills
