Do you want to contribute to the modernisation of the Norwegian railway?

Thales Norway has been awarded a 10 year frame contract by Jernbaneverket, to supply new signalling systems for modernisation of the Norwegian railway. The program combines state of the art technology from Thales in Germany with expertise in our local organisation in Norway. The program consists of several installation projects which are executed in parallel, driving our need to strengthen our organisation. We are looking for colleagues who are ambitious and eager to work with challenging and demanding tasks, especially within
large scale technical infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for support and advice on HSE matters in general, but with a specific responsibility towards the rail signalling program and other projects in the public transportation domain. You will evaluate HSE risks during all project phases and ensure that these are managed properly, develop and execute relevant training programs and work actively to embed HSE awareness in the project culture.

Qualifications/skills
- Experience with implementation of HSE strategies in a rail infrastructure environment
- Good knowledge of applicable HSE regulations to Norway and to rail
infrastructure environment in particular
- Proactive and structured
- Effective communication skills (English and Norwegian)
- Experience from similar positions with a good track record
- Bachelor's degree within engineering
- Experience from similar positions with a good track record
