Our Service Workshop in Grunnavågen (Sagvåg) Wärtsilä Norway AS is looking for an engaged Workshop Engineer.

This is apermanent position and is located in Sagvåg, Norway.

What you will be doing

Wärtsiläs workshop in Grunnavågen produces low-voltage and high-voltage switches, ship automation, and propeller control systems. Our preferred candidate has the qualities needed for interaction both with our customers and your colleagues. You are also flexible in performing other and random work in the workshop.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Independence: Capable of working autonomously and taking initiative to drive projects forward.
  • Quality consciousness: Attention to detail and commitment to delivering work of the highest standard.
  • Cooperative attitude: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Good attitude towards QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety): Understanding of and commitment to maintaining high standards in these areas.
  • Fluent in both Norwegian and English: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively in both Norwegian and English.
  • Relevant certificates
  • Previous experience is an advantage

Vår foretrukne kandidat har egenskapene som skal til for samhandling både med kunder og

kollegaer. Du er også fleksibel i forhold til å utføre annet og forefallende arbeid i Workshop.

Formell kompetanse:

  • Fagbrev innen tavlemontørfaget/automasjonsfaget eller annet relevant fagbrev.

  • Det er en fordel om du har praksis og erfaring innen bygging/produksjon av tavler.

Som person er du løsnings- og resultatorientert, selvstendig, ryddig, kvalitetsbevisst, omgjengelig og samarbeidsvillig. Du har også gode holdninger til HMS. I tillegg er det krav til både norsk og engelsk.
