Purpose of the job
As a Customer Contact Representative in our B2C department you answer travel related questions from KLM's customers mainly by phone, but also per email. You suggest opportunities for them to fly with KLM and make the travel reservations or help them to solve their own specific problem while visiting the KLM website. You look for improvements in the process and take further action if needed.
Job description
1. Customer Services
You give general information, support and service in an effective way to customers and,
if applicable, travel agents in order to improve customer satisfaction.
2. Reservations & Sales
You give information to KLM's customers on flight fares, availability and schedules. You recognize sales leads and acts upon them. You explain advantages of the KLM product over competitive airlines and searches for alternatives if the customer's initial wish cannot be fulfilled in order to conclude a sale and to increase turnover for KLM.
3. Feedback
Provide feedback to KLM about the use of KLM.com and suggest improvements.
Profile
You are service minded and always looking for the best solutions. You have a middle vocational education work and perception level and an excellent command of English and Dutch. Preferably you have experience in working at a call centre and/or in a travel or airline related industry.
Training & rosters
The training will take place between 09:00 -17:30 from Monday to Friday for eight weeks. Due to training and coaching is fulltime availability during the first 3 months required. The work will be scheduled in a 24-7 roster Monday to Sunday. It is possible to influence your own working schedule. However, we cannot guarantee fixed times.
