As our new Manager, Operational Excellence & Operational Training you will be a key member of the Supply Chain Management team at our site in Rosbrud in Norway
Operational Excellence is the CCE way to develop systems and people to enable “Excellence in Operations” in our manufacturing and distribution processes, and this role will focus on the training and development of the operational team – especially at Operator and Technician Level, to embed a culture of sustainable high performance.
An integral part of the role will be to deliver performance improvement via strategic & tactical initiatives. As such, this role will require you to draw on your personal experience to guide and support the leadership team to manage change, in order to achieve a balanced approach to develop people, methods & knowledge, drive efficiency and effectiveness, conduct performance analysis and identify and share best practice across CCEP.
You will report directly to the Operations Director of the Robsrud site as part of the site leadership team, but will also be a key link with the central Operational Excellence function on a European level.
Your key responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the CCEP “Excellence in Operations” programme
- Establish a strong culture of operational standards as a foundation for continuous improvement
- Implement programmes to deliver improvement in equipment performance and reliability
- Develop & delivery operator upskilling programs, ensuring that we have the skills required ot operator our lines to the highest standards at all times
- Project manage site based improvement projects to deliver benefits for site performance
- Contribute to identification and sharing of best practice at a European level
To be successful in this role you need:
- Operational line management experience in an FMCG environment with an established continuous improvement culture
- Expertise and knowledge of driving sustainable change via TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Lean six sigma or similar approaches.
- Experience of establishing Continuous improvement culture, system and methodology, building engagement - top down & bottom up through working close to the business and the people
If you have a relevant academic degree, it would be beneficial, but the hands-on experience is top-priority.
Other than that we believe that you have the ability to cross between Lead, Manage, Coach styles & modify approach according to the situation. You have a strategic mindset and know that working close to the shop floor will be a winning concept. When it comes to project- and stakeholder management you are a strong contributor, a trusted advisor and have the power to influence.
