C&IA is organized at a Nordic level and present in all four Nordic countries. C&IA analysts provide credit analysis at a local and Nordic level within Nordea’s risk adjusted approach with industry specialization.

 

C&IA Norway consists of 20 employees divided in two core teams.

 

As a Credit & Industry Analyst in Nordea you will be working in the largest bank in the Nordic countries. Nordea serves over 10 million private customers and more than half a million corporate customers in the Nordic region.

 

You will be working with our largest and most important corporate customers and develop strong credit and core banking competence.

 

As a Credit Analyst in C&IA NO you will be working in a team of dedicated employees with high level of competence and a strong sense of collaboration and togetherness. We take pride in the work we do and support and help bring out the best in each other.

  

C&IA Norway’s main objective is to offer high quality credit, company and industry analysis to support our stakeholders in the bank and to make sure we perform our analysis in accordance with operating models and guidelines.

 

As a Credit Analyst in C&IA NO you will be involved in a wide range of analytical tasks and transactions, ranging from ordinary corporate credit and project financing to Leverage Buy Out’s and Private Equity transactions.

 

You will get the opportunity to specialize in different types of industries and be part of transaction processes and customers team’s as a credit specialist.

 

As a new employee of C&IA NO you will of course be trained and mentored by C&IA NO analysts and learn Nordea’s models and credit framework. However as your main daily task will be analyzing companies within this framework you should be able to analyze accounting information and financial figures.

 

You should also be able to keep track of details but focus on key elements and be capable of writing analysis and explaining complex issues (in English).

 

For anyone aiming for a career in banking, understanding and having the ability to evaluate credit risk is a key competence.

 

The position is located in Nordea’s new headquarter at Majorstua in Oslo.

 

We are looking for a committed team player with good interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset is a prerequisite. You must feel comfortable presenting and defending your conclusions towards relevant stakeholders.

 

As a person you are eager to develop and learn and have a master degree in economics, finance or accounting.

 

The right candidate should have at least two/three years of working experience, preferably from a related field.

 

You have a good understanding of and the ability to read and analyze financial statements.

 

You know your way around MS Office, especially Excel.

 

You have excellent writing skills and are fluent in both Norwegian and English.
