BioMar has decided to strengthen the R&D Department in Trondheim (Norway) and is now looking for a resourceful and creative scientists within larvae nutrition to our Nutrition Formulation Department.

Job description

  • Research within marine larvae and fry nutrition
  • Development of aquatic feed products and feed concepts in close cooperation with our larvae business unit
  • Lead national and international R&D projects from idea to product and to be a technical support to colleagues across department and countries
  • Within the "Formulation" Departement you will mainly be working with developing larvae and fry feed products

Qualifications

  • PhD-degree in fish physiology, nutrition or biotechnology in connection to aquatic species
  • Research experience within marine larvae and fry nutrition
  • Competence within experimental design and statistics
  • Experience in project management
  • Network within industry and/or research
  • Skilled in oral and written English language and preferably Norwegian

Personal qualities

  • A team player, excellent relationship builder and good co-operative skills
  • Ability to work independently, systematically and goal oriented
  • Agile and open for new challenges
