Hotel Manager reports to the captain on board and is followed up on the commercial side by the land based Hotel Operations.

Job description

  • Secure a premium service experience for our guests
  • Create good results through engaging and professional leadership of employees
  • Training and development of middle management and other employees in own department
  • Accountable for confirming to USPH and HACCH guidelines for hygiene
  • Control cost, expenses and efficiency - both for crew, supplies and other costs
  • Increase on board sales from the different points of sales
  • Contribute on daily meetings with the rest of the ship management and assure efficient collaboration with all departments on board
  • Efficient collaboration with the land based organization and knowledge sharing across the fleet

Qualifications

  • BSc in Hotel Management or other relevant education
  • Extensive relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
  • Proven track record in Hotel Management
  • Solid commercial awareness and knowledge about all reporting departments
  • Good ICT skills
  • Fluent within one Scandinavian language and English is a must
  • We offer the necessary safety certifications if the candidate does not have these
