Sales Specialist - Capacitors and Filters ABB

You will be part of High Voltage Products, a business unit within the Power Grids division, which develops, manufactures and markets high voltage products for HVAC and HVDC systems, such as surge arresters, breakers, instrument transformers, capacitors and cooling systems. The unit has 900 employees.

Oppgaver :

As Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing the strategy and driving the sales of Capacitor and Filter products and services within the Nordic Region.
The main requirements of the role are:

To establish and maintain effective customer relationships, to understand their needs, promote customer understanding of the full product/services offering, and align to provide the right solution.

Create added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring the successful outcome of contracts and proposals.

Building long term customer relationships and to manage the resolution of specific customer needs and issues.

Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.

Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the region and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration within ABB.

Grow C&F orders in his region/country. 

Proactively raise opportunities to the MM and PGTMM to optimize chances to improve market penetration and expansion.

Raise the profile and focus of C&F with local sales teams (including training/marcom where appropriate).

Prepare sales plans using company tools and systems.

Drive collaboration within the PG division (e.g. PGGI) and others ABB division (e.g. RM, IA, EP) to optimize chances to secure orders.

Participate to regular bid status reviews and propose recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.

Support the preparation of offers in coordination with country back office, MM’s and PGTMM.

Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.

First and foremost, your personal qualities are vital for success. As Sales Specialist it is essential that you are customer focused, diligent and precise, with good presentation and communication skill as well as being of strong team player. You will contribute with your positive and proactive mindset, as well as with your ability to create a good team atmosphere. Adding your great negotiatins skills, you have what it takes to thrive in this position.

As a foundation, you hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have 3-5 years of work experience in Sales (preferably in power quality and/or capacitors & filters, energy storage. Fluency in English is a must, while other languages are preferable.
