Vi søker etter engasjerte og motiverte sommerhjelpere i OSLO og BERGEN, som liker utfordringer og hektiske arbeidsdager. Du elsker cruiseskip samt logistikken bak det, utfordringen av å koordinere og planlegge? Er du engasjert og nøyaktig i arbeidet ditt? Da er du den rette personen til å jobbe hos oss i sommer.

Som sommerhjelp er du assistent til en av våre ECS - manager for å håndtere følgende oppgaver, ved anløp av cruiseskipet

· Planlegging og gjennomføring av utflukter

· Kommunisere med cruiseskipet om hvor mange gjester har bestilt en tur/ hvilken tur

· Kommunisere med leverandører og bekrefte bestillinger

· Kontorarbeid, forberedelse/ etterarbeid i henhold til anløpet

· Hjelpe til på kaien med organisasjon av busser og guider / kontrollering og telling av billetter / generell hjelp til Shorex team fra skipet

· Være i kontakt med ansatte og gjester fra cruiseskip for å koordinere utflukter

Kvalifikasjoner:

· Du behersker engelsk og norsk (flere språk er av stor fordel)

· Du behersker MS Office og er komfortabel med å arbeide med PC og telefon

· Du er tilgjengelig i hele sommer

· Det er av fordel om du har jobbet innen turisme bransjen før

An exciting opportunity to develop your skills and competencies this summer. We are looking for passionate assistants for the season in Oslo and Bergen to work with cruise ships and the logistics that support this growing industry. If you like the challenges that coordinating and planning pose and if you are dedicated and detail oriented in your work then maybe you are the right person to work with us this summer.

As a summer assistant you will assist one of our managers in the European Cruise Service offices either in Bergen or Oslo. With each cruise ship call you will be involved with the following tasks.

  Planning and carrying out of shore excursions;
• 
  
  Communicating with the cruise ship about the numbers of guests booking tours;
• 
  
  Communicating with suppliers and confirming reservations and orders.
• 
  
  Preparing the necessary documentation and office work with every call;
• 
  
  Coordinating the shore excursion operations on the pier, organising guides and busses;
• 
  
  Counting and double checking tickets as well generally supporting the operations on the pier together with the team from the ship;
• 
  
  Communicate and assist the employees and passengers from cruise ships in order to ensure that operations run smoothly and safely.

For this job you will have to:

• 
  
  Be a proficient user of English, both speaking and in writing. Command of Norwegian and other languages (e.g. German, Italian, French, Spanish) will be of great advantage;
• 
  
  have a good mastery of MS Office (especially MS Excel) and be comfortable working with digital media;
• 
  
  be available throughout the summer
• 
  
  have experience within the service branch. Having experience within the tourism sector is of great advantage.
