En tavlemontør monterer elektriske skap (tavler) som kan brukes i industrien, på oljeplattformer, på skip, på sykehus, i offentlige bygg eller institusjoner.Hva gjør en tavlemontør på Siemens? Tavlemontasje består av to hoveddeler, en mekanisk montasjedel og en elektrisk montasjedel. Først blir de mekaniske delene (montasjeplater, braketter, kobberskinner osv.) satt opp. Deretter blir de elektriske komponentene montert opp og koblet sammen etter et koblingsskjema. Tavlemontøren utfører hele montasjejobben fra A til Å. Siemens lager hovedsaklig skreddersydde løsninger til sine kunder.
