The business area is responsible for our business in district heading, green hydrogen, biofuel, e-mobility, Statkraft Ventures, new business development, as well as R&D. We seek to develop and grow business both organically and through M&A.The Strategy, Portfolio, and Ownership team in New Energy Solutions provides support to the whole business area within strategy development, investment- and commercial support, and portfolio management, and is asset owner for e-mobility (Mer) and biofuel (Silva Green Fuel).Key areas of responsibility include:Drive the development and execution of an active ownership strategy, governance, and commercial optimization related to Statkraft’s investment into Silva Green Fuel.Conduct analyses of Silva Green Fuel’s development, performance, and value, and maintain a view on key levers to maximize value and strengthen performance. Create and follow up an active owner’s agenda for development- and improvement.Actively support Silva Green Fuel in reaching its high ambitions to become a leader in advanced biofuel. Have an ongoing dialogue with the company and provide support where needed.Contribute to development of Silva Green Fuel as an independent company, while securing that Statkraft’s ownership is well managed in all aspects and that the company has access to relevant expertise and services from Statkraft.Develop and maintain Statkraft’s bioenergy competence and our industrial ambition in bioenergy: Monitor market trends, competitors, frame conditions and regulation within bioenergy, review structural and strategic opportunities, and take lead on development of Statkraft’s response.As a senior team member in the Strategy, portfolio, and ownership team you will also work closely together with the other senior members of the team and have the opportunity to proactively contribute in the strategic development of the business area as a whole.About you:We look for an experienced Investment Manager with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions within bioenergy. That includes:Master/university degree in business, economy, engineering or scienceMinimum 3-5 years’ experience from private equity, industrial investment company, corporate finance, or management consulting.Relevant experience from process industry or the energy sector would be a plus, but not required.Self-driven and strong commercial mindset with analytical approachCurious and creative mindset, but also willing to prioritizeHigh knowledge and experience within strategy, business development and investments, preferably within the energy sectorExcellent team-player with very good communication skills, enjoying building networks internally and externallyAble to travel to meet with potential customers and equity partnersAt Statkraft, we’re always looking for people with great social and communication skills.
