Working in Corporate StrategyThe Corporate Strategy Development department in Corporate Strategy & Analysis is responsible for supporting the CEO and Corporate Management in setting and driving Statkraft’s strategic agenda. The team is responsible for developing Statkraft's Corporate strategy and reviewing Statkraft’s corporate portfolio (including advising Corporate Management on capital allocation to the Business Areas and structural topics such as early phase M&As and investments). Together with top management and business leaders, the department is a driving force for shaping Statkraft’s future development.We are looking for a new senior team member responsible for driving corporate strategy development, including facilitating the corporate strategy process (the Annual Strategic Review). The position reports to Vice President Corporate Strategy Development.As a Senior Strategy Manager in Corporate Strategy Development, you will:Be responsible for formulating Statkraft’s corporate strategy including ambitions and targets for the Group, in close interaction with top management and business leaders across the company. You will be the project leader for the Group’s Annual Strategic Review process conducted each spring to develop and update Statkraft’s strategy. You will be the editor of the corporate strategy document, outlining the overall strategy and investment approach of the company across technologies and markets.Be part of evaluating key strategic opportunities and challenges the company is facing, and provide strategic advice to the CEO and senior management on theseLead and execute strategic projects, including project scoping, conducting research and analysis, leading multiple workstreams and teams, and synthesising conclusions into recommendationsFacilitate strategic discussions and decision-making across a range of topics at various management levels in the organizationWork closely with the analysis teams in the Corporate Strategy & Analysis department, and be part of translating Statkraft’s strategic analysis into strategyEnsure a strong link between the corporate strategy and business area strategies, in collaboration with the Business Area strategy teamsContinuously improve the Annual Strategic Review process on Group levelEnsure the strategy is updated and communicated across the organization in collaboration with the Communication teamsQualificationsWe look for an experienced strategy professional with the essential skills to shape the company’s strategic direction. We believe this includes:Master’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or similarSolid experience as a strategy project leader. You have a proven ability to run structured strategy processes with multiple stakeholders and lead complex strategy projectsExperience from management consulting or corporate strategy departments would be an advantageStrong communicator with excellent presentation and writing skills.
