Could you be the next adventurer to join us?What the role entailsYou'll be a part of our skilled home energy management team, handling immense volumes of fascinating data and working with the latest cloud technology.In this role you will have a focus on home energy management, modelling devices, controlling power flows to optimise our customer’s constraints and save them money. For this, you will work closely with other data scientists and back end developers.Initially, you will develop heating models being able to forecast heating behavior for different homes and devices. In this way we can plan heating demand. The outcomes of the heating models will be integrated to our holistic optimisation, so we can plan energy flows in the best way.Exciting, right? In their daily work, the team primarily uses Python as a language together with tools and packages including Airflow, Databricks, SQL, Scipy, Scikit-learn and Pandas . Meanwhile, the Tibber platform is run by employing a microservices architecture on Amazon Web Services.About youIn order for you to thrive with us in your new role, you:Have 3+ years professional experience in a similar role.Are curious with data, and feel confident to independently work with large data sets, both structured and unstructured data.Can develop predictive models and machine-learning algorithms in Python. In addition you can develop integration tests of your code.Have a keen interest in optimization algorithms.
