Role Summary:

Baker Hughes currently has an opportunity for a Base Manager, to be responsible for managing the day to day operations at our Mongstad facility, where driving a high performance culture is a key responsibility.

Essential Responsibilities:

•Coach a HSE culture, and adherence to governing regulations and company policies for a Tubing conveyed perforating facility.

•Maintain competency management compliance according to Baker Hughes policy.

•Ensure that the contract obligations and deliveries are met at a cost effective rate, and in a timely manner.

•Work closely with the operational engineering team and respond to operational changes as required.

•Maintain operational base readiness to assure operational continuity.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years management experience -- ideally management of a base or facility.

• A proven background within the Oil and Gas sector, ideally within a Drilling or Completion Fluids environment.

• Strong HSE knowledge and understanding.

• Ability to lead and enforce a high performance organization.

• Detail oriented.

• Ability to work well both as part of a team and on own initiative.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Strong Interpersonal, communication and interpretation skills

• English & Norwegian language skills preferred

• High level computer skills -- Microsoft packages, internet, email etc.

• Well-developed sense for assessment, problem solving and logistical decision making

• Flexible and adaptable to changing demands in a fast paced environment

• Results driven with the ability to be proactive as well as reactive to handling unexpected setbacks, obstacles and time constraints.
