In order to accommodate the increasing workload we are looking for Tool Specialist in our Surface Data Logging department. You will be a part of a dynamic and flexible work group.
The Tool Specialist position is created to help realize Equinor?s re-manning objectives and perform the hand-on tasks and activities at the Rig site to support Integrated Operations (IO) Level 3 with full support from the onshore operations center (OOC). The new position is expected to cover cross-PSL activities with full understanding of the underlying processes used by the project. Main contact point for the onshore operation center on tools installation, well monitoring, tool communication, performance and troubleshooting issues.
Job description:
You will be part of a dedicated onshore team working on a shift rotation, monitoring well conditions at offshore installations. The main tasks are:
- Be responsible for all tool handling offshore
- Be responsible for maintenance of the gas monitoring equipment and data acquisition system
- Maintain all sensors
- Be responsible for BHA component handling including whip stock
- Be certified and responsible for handling radioactive sources
- Responsible for inventory of service equipment onboard
- Assist in logistics and order equipment as required
- Assist during completion and slot recovery
- Assist during completion andslot recovery operationsAssist Halliburton cross- Product Service Lines offshore with tasks related to Integrated Operations (IO) Level 3 model

Qualifications:
- Preferably Master (MSc) or Bachelor degree (BSc) in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, Science or other relevant fields.
- Relevant experience as Data Engineer, MWD, DD or related positions
- Fluent in both spoken and written English is a requirement, it is also an advantage if you master one Scandinavian language
- Candidates with offshore experience are preferres

- Good knowledge of the drilling services tools and surface equipment
- Willing to work with radioactive sources

- Able to work offshore
Team oriented candidates that exhibit good communication skills will be preferred. Well control is a big responsibility and the job relies on clear and concise contact with all parties involved in the well operation both onshore and offshore. You need to work structured and organized. The work environment is complex and hectic where you might not find answers by yourself but rather within the team
In line with future development in the industry around remote delivery models, candidates based in Stavanger area or with commitment to relocate are preferred.
All candidates should expect some offshore assignments.
The position requires that you champion the Company's HSE procedures.
