We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. You will support us in providing an awesome experience to learners of all ages and help evolve our infrastructure to handle our ever growing user base.

Your day at Kahoot!
You'll be working across all the stack at Kahoot!. As a DevOpsEngineer, you will work on products that affect millions of our users using various technologies including large-scale systems, big data platforms, and distributed systems. If you're experienced with various technologies, a fast learner, and focusing on "getting things done", we'd love to hear from you!
The role will report to the Director of Engineering.

Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of short and long term infrastructure projects
- Continuous improvement of our systems reliability and resilience
- Optimization and consolidation of our cloud services usage
- Evaluating the migration of services to Kubernetes
- Troubleshoot production incidents and devise improvements
- Tracking and improvement of our systems security
- Collaboration with other teams and management
- Learning from and mentoring other infrastructure engineers
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years experience in managing large scale distributed system infrastructure
- Experience with more than one cloud service provider (AWS and Google Cloud f.ex.)
- Experience with configuration management, Docker and Kubernetes
- Sharp troubleshooting skills at all levels, from networking to application level
- Significant experience on incidents management and response
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
Ideally, you'll also have experience with
- Leadership of infrastructure teams
- Couchbase or other NoSQL databases
- Networking (BGP, DNS, Load Balancing, etc...)
- Advanced Linux systems administration
