About the role

In cooperation with HBO, we are looking for an independent and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to start urgently. They are launching HBO Max in the end of October and need someone with great understanding of Social Media to help for the next 3 months. This is a full time position, but HBO are also open to someone who can work 50% or more.

As part of the HBO Europe social media team you are the coordinator of the local Norwegian Social Media Channel (Facebook) and part-owner of the pan-Nordic channels (Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok).

Job duties

• You will translate and schedule posts based on a Monthly post plan created in collaboration with your European Social Media team colleagues.
• You will be working together with the in-house graphics team to order Social Media assets.
• You will be responsible for the daily interaction with our fans and customers on the Norwegian Facebook page.
• You will be responsible for engaging with and influencing our fans and customers on social media.
• You will monitor and report on audience sentiments and trends internally.
• You will be working closely with colleagues across the organization daily.
• You will be the local content and language expert, localizing social ads
• You will coordinate the daily dialogue with our external customer service team to make sure customers are provided with the best service.

We are looking for

• Ideally experience working with and coordinating activities for a social community.
• Ideally a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Media Arts or other similar training.
• Experience from working with social media administrative tools.
• General knowledge within the field of TV series.
• Fluency in English and Norwegian, written and spoken.
• Excellent communication skills.
