The postdoctoral fellow at Faculty of Law, University of Bergen, will undertake legal analyses of the international, national and local legal frameworks, analyse to what extent national and local regulations as well as the operation of maternal health services in Tanzania operate within a human rights framework and comply with human rights requirements concerning the right to health. In addition, the postdoctoral fellow will, in close collaboration with the postdoctoral fellow in Tanzania, analyse to what extent application of the human rights approach and legal framework promotes maternal health in Tanzania. The postdoctoral fellow(s) will benefit from a solid group of experienced researchers with various scientific background at the University of Bergen and at Muhimbili University of Health and Social Sciences.
