ABB AS, Power Systems division, is the local provider of plants and

systems in Norway for the whole range of electric power supply, waste incineration plants and water supply. In the field of protection and substation automation, we offer solutions for the control and protection of high-voltage plants. To strengthen our team in this area, we are looking for a competent test engineer for station control systems at transformer plants for distribution and transmission.

Our control cabinet solutions are based on control terminals from ABB`s product range at bay level and pc solutions from ABB`s product range at station level. As test engineer you will work both at our test field in Oslo and at customer sites in Norway.

Tasks

• Perform tests of control cabinets. Test of circuits, components, functions and software. 
• Work out configurations for IED`s.
• Test of complete systems.
• Prepare test protocols. Perform IAT and FAT with Norwegian
• customers in Oslo. 
• Commissioning and SAT in substations all over Norway.

Requirements

Electrical engineering.

Relevant experience from energy industry is preferred with focus on:

• Service maintenance and commissioning of automation and control systems 
• Scandinavian language (swedish, danish or norwegian) fluent  and English is required. 

Interpersonal skills: analytical, communicate effectively, customer orientation, structured regarding engineering and documentation, highly motivated and team-oriented.

Heavy travel activity in Norway is required.
