DNV GL Group Centre provides support to group management in DNV GL within finance, tax, legal, compliance, communications and human resources (HR). People Processes is a section within Group HR & HSE that currently consists of 6 people involved in a broad range of HR matters globally and the section is responsible for a large number of the HR processes in DNV GL. The role of Group HR and HSE in DNV GL is to establish, maintain and monitor implementation of the DNV GL People Policy and our HR processes and instructions designed to support DNV GL’s strategy. As a member of People Processes you will be working with the entire global DNV GL organisation. The section has a broad contact base and is supporting the Chief HR Officer and the Executive Committee on a regular basis. We are strengthening the capacity in DNV GL Group Centre related to compensation and benefits and are looking for someone who can drive governance and improvement within this area. Further the capacity related to governance of pension on an international level needs to be strenghtened in our organisation.


Position Description:

  • Harmonisation of compensation and benefits in genereal and pension/insurance in particular related to the ongoing DNV and GL integration
  • Executive pay management
  • Take responsibility for supporting Chief Human Resources Officer related to our Compensation Committee
  • Projects in 2015 and onwards related to pension and insurance initiatives
  • Governance related to compensation and benefits and salary adjustments.
  • Perform internal audits
  • Initiate projects when relevant

Position Qualifications
  • 5 - 10 years of international experience within compensation and benefits
  • Extensive (3 - 5 years) experience from and interest in the area of international pension
  • International experience within international assignments is an advantage
  • Understanding and experience related to the governance role
  • Excellent communications skills, orally and written
  • Fluency in English
  • Required education and level: Masters degree or Bachelor degree preferred.  Extensive experience can outweigh lack of formal education
  • You should be self-driven and approach DNV GL colleagues easily
  • Ability to prioritize
  • You need to travel to relevant major sites on a regular basis through the year
