Group Accounting is responsible for the consolidation and reporting of the Telenor Group’s consolidated financial statements. Activities include monthly consolidation and reporting of financial statements, the Quarterly and Annual Reports for the Group, resolving accounting issues, as well as reporting to the Group CFO, Steering Committee, Audit Committee, and Group Executive Management. We work closely with the finance departments of all significant Telenor controlled business units across Europe and Asia, as well with the other Group Finance functions such as Controlling, Planning and Analysis, Investor Relations, Treasury, Merger & Acquisitions and Tax.

Job description
  • As an Accounting Manager you will be responsible for following up one or more Business Areas. As an Accounting Manager for a Business Area you will be responsible for performing analytical controls of the reporting from the Business Areas, preparing and reviewing working papers, resolving accounting issues. In addition you will be involved in preparing the consolidated financial statements of the Telenor Group and responsible for preparing some of the notes disclosures to the Quarterly and Annual Report.
Qualifications
  • Master in Auditing and Accounting (MRR)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with auditing or accounting & reporting
  • Good IS skills (Hyperion, Excell (advanced), ERP systems, etc.)
  • Experience with IFRS
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English – both written and orally
Education level
  • College/University (Master's degree)
