Job Focus Owner of the short term and long term forecast of the Vesterålens Naturprodukter Nordic business and ensure this integrates with strategic business objectives. Provide accurate and timely analysis of all aspects of business and inventory forecasting. Assists in managing and controlling inventory holding.
Main Responsibilities:
- Help in the process for demand planning, sales forecasting, warehouse release and rework of a defined product portfolio
- Assist in maintaining 24 to 36 month forecast for all SKU activity in SAP APO and MS Excel Files
- Manage relationships with all manufacturing sites, distribution and supply center
- Ensure excellent forecasting practice is applied and monitored on a monthly basis
- Aggregated forecast APO submission
- Inventory management and periodic price changes in ETM CRM tool
- Material Master data creation and maintenance
- Direct involvement with sales managers to develop robust sales forecast plans
- Provide accurate and relevant forecast data to the business as required
- Analysis of all sales and commercial data to ensure high quality business information and forecast accuracy
- Provide product specification information to business users and ensure accuracy at all times
- Maintain Custom clearance certificate and helps in coordinating custom clearance activities.
Education, Skills, Experience: - Degree in business studies (preferably in logistics and/or supply chain) is preferred but not required. Minimum 3 years of experience in demand or supply planning or in relevant business area
- Financial systems and controls (SAP/APO knowledge preferred)
- Sound commercial awareness
