To our head office in Oslo, Norway, we are seeking 1-3 candidates to our International Trainee Program 2015 Equity & Credig Sales.
As an Equity Sales or Credit Sales trainee, your employment will begin in our International Trainee Program. This program aims to develop your financial understanding of our core sectors while learning international sales skills from experienced members of our Equity and Fixed Income teams. As an Equity or Credit Sales trainee, you will be a part of our international sales force in Oslo and New York.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing a strong fundamental understanding of the RS Platou Group's core sectors, constructing financial models, preparing investment ideas within our research universe and creating a client portfolio by establishing contact with new clients globally.
Candidates with a master's degree in finance, economics or engineering graduating in 2015 with strong academic results will be favored. A proven track record of strong work ethic (summer jobs/internships etc.) is required however you do not need to have any previous experience from investment banking. We are looking for self-driven individuals with exceptional communications skills, a strong work ethic and a high degree of integrity. Ability to absorbe large amounts of information is a must as the work is fast paced and requires high stress tolerance. Since English is the working language of the firm, we require excellent written and spoken English skills. Above all we are looking for an ambitious and dynamic individual with an extensive interest for securities.
The trainee positions are full-time and provide a competitive compensation package with an opportunity to grow within a dynamic and highly successful international investment bank.
