Due to increases in our claims lead portfolio, we are looking to strengthen our team of Marine Claims Handlers and Adjusters who handle claims on behalf of Gard's clients worldwide and provides advice to our clients on coverage issues and potential claims.

The successful candidates will preferably have a minimum of 3 years' experience from a marine technical, nautical, legal or other relevant shipping related background.
Previous experience within the marine insurance sector will be an advantage, but not a requirement for the positions.
Claims Executive is an operational position that involves amongst others: handling incoming claims, appointing and following up surveyors, lawyers etc., assisting and advising clients on repair options and extensive client/broker contact.
A Claims Adjuster's main areas of responsibility include close cooperation with Claims Executives and clients on coverage issues, claims handling and recoveries, analysis of incoming claims documentation, drawing up adjustments, reviewing policy terms and advising internally.
