Maersk Drilling is a fast growing offshore drilling company, currently part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk conglomerate, but soon to be a standalone company. Maersk Drilling currently manages 6 rigs in the Norwegian part of the North Sea, through 7 registered companies, and we need a Payroll Coordinator to join our lean, high performing local Payroll team. We Offer As part of the local payroll team based in Stavanger, you will also be part of bigger multifunction Finance Team with some opportunities to get involved in various Finance related projects, mainly locally in Norway. We use OCS as our payroll processing software, wherefrom we pay out all local salaries in Norway (approx. 900 employees). Over the recent years we have outsourced the majority of our routine tasks previously performed in the payroll team, leaving mainly the tasks and processes requiring on-site presence and involvement from other functions. This also means the daily tasks can be varied - giving the ideal candidate a good opportunity to learn and gain experience which stretches beyond the Payroll function perimeter. Key Responsibilities As Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for the day to day support regarding payroll queries and preparations, incl. supporting the outsourced payroll processes. We are aiming for accounting involvement as an integrated part of the job role. Who we are looking for We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of Bachelor`s degree or similar within business administration, that has a natural interest and understanding of payroll, processes and preferably also accounting and numbers. The candidate is ready to become part of an open high performing team, where we continuously strive to improve our support towards the rig operations. As a Payroll Coordinator your immediate Manager will be the Payroll Team Leader, who in turn reports to the Finance Manager. As a Payroll Coordinator you will mainly work within OCS payroll system, and also touch on our ERP and accounting system, IFS, which is still young in the organization. The position will be based in the Stavanger office, with no travel requirements.
