The Ocean Industries Divisioncovers Oil & Gas, Oilfield Services, Shipping, Offshore, and Seafood, and employs around 130 people in total, whereof approximately 25 in Bergen. Our ambition is to be a leading financial partner within our segments, focusing on strong industry competence and optimal use of capital. Synergies that can be achieved from a proactive cooperation with the Investment Banking Division and other parts of DNB are crucial to succeeding.

The Customer Analysis Section (CAS)is looking for Analysts or Corporate Analysts with a keen interest in building a solid business understanding. CAS is responsible for the internal credit evaluation including analysis of risks and corporate responsibility issues related to clients and transactions. We work in client teams with client managers for the respective clients.

We are looking for candidates with strong analytical skills, a professional attitude, the ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as a team orientated attitude. Some key responsibilities:

• Perform risk analysis; including financial modelling of clients and transactions
• Write clear and concise credit memos for decision makers and coordinate the internal credit paper process
• Follow up on client requests and add valuable input to the client teams
• Evaluate market intelligence on relevant industry segments and prepare internal market reports
• Prepare portfolio reports, input to internal reporting and contribute with input to client pitches

Some preferred qualifications:

• Higher education at Master degree level with good results
• Experience from financial modelling/forecasting in Excel
• Knowledge of the shipping & offshore industry or strong interest in developing relevant industry knowledge
• Team orientated and strong co-operative skills
• Fluent in English and Norwegian
• Preferably three years of relevant experience within banking, corporate finance, audit or other relevant institutions/companies

Candidates may be asked to deliver an Excel based test case, which will give an introduction to an important part of the job.
