Norwegian is currently seeking a Senior Line Maintenance Planner.
The Maintenance Planning Department within Norwegian is supporting the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation responsible for the aircraft fleet. The Line Planning section performs daily, and short-term follow up, monitoring and reports regarding airworthiness activities on the company's aircraft, components and equipment, on behalf of Norwegian subsidiary AOCs.
The Line Planning section shall track, oversee and maintain accountability and compliance of all planned maintenance requirements regulated by the maintenance specification and other source documents for the Norwegian aircraft fleet.
The section shall also review planned maintenance requirements to ensure that all airworthiness activities on the company's aircraft, component and equipment are planned and ordered to be performed within due time.

Tasks:
Coordinate, follow-up and provide supervision of planned line maintenance activities related to the Norwegian aircraft fleet.
Communicate with contracted MROs to ensure that all maintenance activities are performed as planned.
Ensure all performed work is updated in our maintenance system (AMOS).
Responsible for the personnel shift plan and roster within the section, hereunder approval of timesheets, managing holidays, sick leaves etc.
Act as a special advisor for issues concerning line maintenance planning, share experience and mentor the other planners in their work.
Approve invoices for work ordered by the section.
Be the subject-matter expert for occurrence report handling related to the line maintenance activities.
Follow-up of operational targets and KPIs.
Write and maintain internal Line Planning procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager Maintenance Planning.

Qualifications:
- An Engineering Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline (minimum formal requirement is B.Sc.). Long and relevant experience from aircraft engineering, planning and/or maintenance can offset the formal requirement.
- Strong background and technical knowledge on aircraft operated by the Norwegian Group is highly preferred.
- Experience in managing aircraft fleet and maintenance scheduling.
- Flight Operations knowledge is preferred.
- Proficient in use of Flight Operations Software (Netline), maintenance follow-up software (AMOS) and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Preferable knowledge of aviation regulation, especially EASA Part M and Part-145.
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English, in addition preferably a Scandinavian language.
- Ability to work within an intense, high-paced work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Absolute prerequisites: Clean criminal record, residence for more than five years in an EU or EFTA state, working permit in EU.
