Nammo AS is looking for an ambitious and team-oriented Group Financial Controller to join the finance department. As a Group Financial Controller, you will play an important role in enabling us to achieve our ambitions for financial reporting. The Group Financial Controller will report to the VP Financial Reporting and Controlling. The team is responsible for delivering high quality financial reporting to the Management and Board as well as providing accounting expertise to various stakeholders in the Group.
We are looking for you who have experience with larger companies, preferably industry or project organizations. You are accurate, structured and put in an extra effort when needed. You are characterized by being curious, interested in continuous improvement and digital solutions.
Main responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting to our stakeholders
- Preparation of the Nammo Group annual report
- Involvement and review of the monthly consolidation of the Group financial statements
- Contribute to continuous improvement, automation and streamlining of the reporting process
- Responsible for improving and implementing Group accounting principles and internal controls over financial reporting
- Responsible for the Group transfer pricing documentation process
- Dialogue with Group auditors on relevant accounting matters
- Planning and follow-up of the Group financial planning activities, such as budgets, forecasts and strategic plan numbers
- Perform various financial analysis
- Perform various project-related tasks
Qualifications:
- Master degree in Audit and Accounting or similar
- Controlling and financial reporting: Sound and relevant experience from audit, finance or accounting services
- 5-10 years of experience from audit, consulting, group accounting or controlling department at a major company
- Solid financial understanding of N GAAP and IFRS
- Broad business understanding and great analytical skills
- Excellent communicative skills, speak and write English and Norwegian effortlessly at a high level
- Familiar with financial applications like consolidation tools, DWH, planning tools etc.
- Used to project deliveries
