Saipem Ltd is Saipem’s global ROV Support Function. We specialise in all aspects of ROV Operations including installation of Offshore Wind Farms, Drill Support, Construction, IRM, Survey, Pipe/Cable Lay and Decommissioning.
Due to increase of activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, Saipem Ltd Norway branch is looking for experienced ROV Pilots and Supervisors.
Work tasks:
Maintain and operate the complete Subsea Remote Equipment/ROV System including the Launch and Recovery System (LARS) and associated ROV Tooling.
Diagnose and Repair faults on all aspects of Subsea Remote Equipment/ROV mechanical/hydraulic/electronic/ electrical/control sub-systems
Carry out Subsea Remote Equipment/ROV piloting and ROV manipulator operations, in accordance with Saipem procedures.
Mobilise and demobilise Subsea Remote Equipment/ROV systems onboard vessels, rigs and barges
Produce Subsea Remote Equipment/ROV Daily Reports, dive logs (written/oral/video) for presentation to client
Operate Subsea Remote Equipment
Carry out General and Planned Maintenance, or partial overhauls, assembly and disassembly works and various maintenance activities on the ROV Systems and associated Tooling.
Ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with Saipem’s policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with Saipem specific procedures.
To ensure his/ her own safety and that of others is not compromised or placed at risk.
Engage in Saipem ROV Competency scheme (CAAS)
Qualifications:
Experience with operating Workclass ROV systems and Competency Certificate
Background as electrician, mechanic or marine engineer as entry level and knowledge of mechanical / hydraulic / electronic / electrical / control sub-systems with trade certificate
Drilling experience is desirable, but not a requirement
Valid Norwegian offshore- and health certificates
Fluent in English and Norwegian, oral and written
Minimum 8 years of ROV experience for the Supervisor positions
Minimum 4 years of ROV experience for the ROV Pilot positions
