Job Profile:
The Senior Payroll Consultant/Payroll Consultant will be a part of the payroll team at Reach Subsea. The role will be handling payroll processing from A to Z, managing travel expenses and reimbursements, taxes, personnel updates, and acting as a superuser for the payroll system. In addition, they will offer guidance on payroll-related matters to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role reports directly to the Payroll Manager.
**Qualifications:**BSC or higher graduation within Economics or equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and/or education/training.
Skills and knowledge: Proven experience with payroll, ability to work independently as well as in a team, service-minded, good oral and written communication skills, and ability to multitask. Familiarity with Unit 4 is an advantage but not required. Additionally, specific knowledge of HR and payroll standards, relevant laws and guidelines is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll A -- Z
- Register new employees/terminate employees
- Control/approve travel expenses (in addition to PM)
- Reconcile and report taxes and employer taxes
- Be updated on legal requirements related to Payroll
- Provide help and support to employees with various payroll-related questions, including timekeeping and travel expense reports.
- Handle cases related to pensions, absences, and vacation.
- Assist with payroll reporting and system support for our foreign entities.
- Serve as a support function for managers and leaders within the organization.
