In connection with one of our employees starting her maternity leave in a couple of months, we are looking for her replacement. This will be a temporary position for approximately 14 months.
Main responsibilities:
To consistently ensure that the Hotel Department onboard is sufficiently manned with qualified personnel in accordance with the ship operator¿s company policy.
Daily correspondence with the respective ship
Update records in our personnel system
Perform required research to select and employ personnel based on the specifications and qualifications as per the respective job profiles.
Daily screening of applications and conducting search to verify credentials
Maintain personnel files / crew records.
Prepare employment agreements and other contractual arrangements in connection with crew signing on, visas, guarantee letters, Yellow Fever and Seaman¿s Books (if required)
Arrange flight tickets, and coordinate arrival information to port agents, crewmembers and respective ship
Maintain daily contact with shipboard management regarding personnel requirements and other personnel matters
Weekly meetings to discuss ship / business related matters at ICMA
Background and qualifications:
Excellent English, both oral and written
Good computer skills
Worked on cruiseships and / or in hotel industry ashore
International experience
Easy to get along with
