Financial manager/controller Fosdalen

About the position: On behalf of our client company we are currently seeking a Finance Manager / Controller for a long-term/permanent position.

You will be responsible for operative development of the company and in particular for its operational economic control. The main purpose of this position will be to provide financial management, control and planning, advice and strategies for meeting the key financial goals of the company. Your duties will include:

- Generation of management targets and budgets
- Process analysis, implementation and follow up of cost and productivity improvement projects
- Preparation of key figures and performance measurement data
- Monthly/quarterly/annual reports
- Cash flow management and accurate accounts control
- Generation of production and sales data, reporting procedures and key figures systems according to our group guidelines
- Company planning, market analysis and development of new initiatives in cooperation with the management team
- Other general administration services in accounting / control

What we are looking for:

Education: Higher degree (MSc/BSc) in business administration and / or technical studies / engineering

Work experience: At least 3-5 years of extensive professional experience in technical business management / economic control, preferably in industrial production with an international focus

Other qualifications:
- Sound industrial/technical knowledge
- Risk management experience
- Good administrative skills
- Other relevant areas of knowledge and expertise beyond these skills/levels can also be of interest

Language skills:
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to learn Norwegian
- Other languages of interest are Spanish / German / Swedish / Danish

Personal skills:
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Skilled in negotiation / conflict management
- Good cooperation and organizational skills
- Strong commitment and vision, results-oriented
- Interpersonal/social competence
- Willingness to relocate to Mid-Norway within commuting distance to the workplace

Start date: As soon as possible / by agreement with the employer
