We now offer an outstanding opportunity in Kristiansand to be our new R&D Manager for our best of breed product - Time & Expense.
The Unit4 R&D department within Time & Expense is located in Kristiansand. The department is integrated with Unit4 central R&D organization and is working according to their development standards. The role contains a variety of tasks, such as run the local R&D department and assign tasks to a satellite office in Granada, Spain. The managing part of the job is estimated to be about 40%, hence there will be 60% product development tasks at hand. This product development includes acting as SCRUM master, coordinating work with performance team and translation team in Harrogate (UK), testing to some extent, solution discussions and more.
Work tasks:
- Manage a team of 12 software developers (8 in Kristiansand 4 in Granada)
- Prioritize and deliver high quality functionality in the software releases
- Software development related activities
- Operate as point of contact towards other departments
- Internal reporting
- Balance effort between three products in close cooperation with Product Management
Qualifications and experience:- Minimum 4 years higher education within information technology and / or equivalent relevant experience within software development
- Experience in working with C# and .NET is required
- Fluent written and oral English
- Experience with C , SQL and HTML/CSS/JS is an advantage
- Relevant work experience from object oriented programming will be beneficial in the position
