IT Manager, DSV Norway DSV Road

DSV are seeking an IT Manager for its operation in Norway. The IT team is a shared service supporting the three DSV companies in Norway; Road, Solutions and Air & Sea.

The IT Manager will report to the regional director being the part of the Group IT organisation.

As an IT Manager you will be responsible for standardization, consolidation, stability and security in a company with high ambitions and pace.

We are looking for a person that look to improve work, can work independently and have a high implementation capacity. You also need to have good cooperation and communication skills when working with both customers and internal stakeholders are a key success factor. In addition, we are looking for a person that are able to facilitate a close collaboration between local IT resources and global IT.

Key tasks

• Lead and develop the local IT team
• Prioritize work
• Resource planning
• Work closely with local business to develop and maintain delivery platforms and business opportunities
• Cooperate with the Group IT functions and coordinate IT initiatives
• IT project management
• Deliver flexible solutions to the business based on standards

Qualifications

• Higher degree within IT
• 3-5 years' experience in similar positions preferably in multi-national companies.
• Experience with working in projects
• Experience from the logistics and transportation business

Personal skills

• Excellent leadership skills
• Experience from systems integration using EDIFACT and XML
• Ability to communicate excellent in Norwegian and English
• Have a structured and systematic approach
• Pro-active and resourceful
• You have experience in prioritizing and you are flexible in order to deliver tasks within tight deadlines
• You are a positive contributor and able to create a good work environment
