About the Unit: Yara Porsgrunn is a major production site for Yara International. The plant produces more than three million tons of fertilizer yearly in addition to various products for industrial applications. The plant has three production areas; Ammonia, Nitric Acid and NPK/Calcium Nitrate and approximately 500 employees.
Yara Porsgrunn has an annual turnover of about 8 billion NOK.
Digital transformation is an integral part of our Production Strategy. We are looking for a Digital Transformation Manager (DTM) to accelerate the introduction of digital solutions at Yara Porsgrunn. You will also take a leading role in driving the interlinked transformation of how we work. As our DTM you will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and have a dotted line to the Program Manager in the cental Digital Production team.
Responsibility
Site contact point for the central Digital Production team
Drive execution of local digital roadmap for the site, in close collaboration with Plant Management and Digital Production team. Plan and schedule required local resources.
Identify digital improvement opportunities
Participate in development of digital products
Actively communicate and support required change management
Profile
Master or bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Solid experience from plant operation or plant maintenance
Strong ability to communicate and influence decision makers
Conceptual thinker, capable of sketching what a future reality can look like
Personal interest in digital
A self-starter who embraces change
Willingness to work in an international environment and to travel for some extended periods to help other sites to implement digital solutions
