We are:
Destination Tromsø, a leading activity supplier based in Tromsø. Currently we provide unforgettable experience such as dogsledding, northern lights chases, and fjord sailing. Destination Tromsø is owned by Norwegian Travel Company, one of Norways largest activity suppliers operating in Kirkenes, Tromsø, Lofoten, and Åndalsnes.

Job Responsibilities:

-Preparing for the tours. May include name list, shopping for food, preparing supplies, etc

-Putting guests satisfaction as the number one priority

-Greeting guests prior to the tour and making them feel welcome

-Share the science and mythology of the northern lights during the tour

-Taking photographs of the aurora, editing the photos, and sending the photos to the guests every night.

-Other responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs.

You should be:
-- Based in Tromsø and available to work from mid-November till mid-March -- Fluent in English. All additional languages are a plus. (Special interest for french, portuguese, spanish, italian, and german) -- Flexible, service-minded and enthusiastic -- Interested in working with people from different countries and cultures, able to present information in an entertaining way -- Prior experience as an activity guide is prioritized -Able to work in a fast paced environment -Quick learning -Skilled with photography

-Able to work nights, and long hours

-You must enjoy the nature and outdoors, and be prepared to work in cold temperatures

-Must be able to handle groups with comfort and ease
