About the role
Sensorita is a well-funded venture-backed startup based in Oslo. We have developed a unique sensor that creates digital twins of large waste containers, combining radar signals with cutting-edge machine learning. Our broader goal is to help optimize waste flows, to increase recycling rates and extend the lifetime of materials.
We are now developing software solutions to help waste management companies (a) offer better customer experiences and (b) optimize their own logistics.
You would be the first designer at Sensorita, with responsibilities spanning the whole range from user research to detailed graphic design.

What you’ll do
- Understand user needs through interviews and observation
- Design solutions, spanning from concept development and service design to detailed graphic design
- Test hypotheses and prototypes
- Collaborate closely with developers and our Head of Product
- Help improve our ways-of-working
- Lead design initiatives from A to Z, including running creative workshops
- Help “do what’s needed” in a small startup, including graphic design for marketing, sales, and fundraising materials
- Contribute to our product strategy and vision

💰 Competitive salary.
We use the Tekna median for the data/IT sector from the previous year as a reference point to determine total compensation. Generally, senior positions receive a larger proportion of their compensation through ownership in the company.
