eBerry was established in 2016 as a subsidiary of the Nordic Choice Hospitality Group with the mission to transform the digital landscape for how our guests travel, book their stay and interact with us. To deliver on this promise, we are building a team that will be in charge of all our customer-facing technology and development. We are in the starting blocks of creating a new platform, website, and applications that will be integrated with our 190+ hotels, as well as interact with our 16,000 employees and help sell 34,000+ rooms.

To strengthen our Product team we are looking for aProduct Owner

The role:

As a Product Owner you will work diligently with designers, developers, other Product Owners as well as an array of inspiring colleagues both in eBerry and across Nordic Choice Hospitality Group in order to help create the World's Best Digital Guest Journey.

Your responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of a product (web, app) or area (booking, check-in/out, etc) roadmap, the prioritisation of new features and enhancements to existing features.
  • Be an integrated part of and always available for the development team to explain,
    discuss and exchange ideas.
  • Create user stories and requirements set towards the development and define
    acceptance criterias
  • Participate in Sprint planning, Grooming, Retrospective and Demos.
  • Understand the background and business objectives for each development initiative and
    formulate purpose and target
  • Ensure balance of initiatives between scope, time and cost
  • Evaluate technical debt together with team.

Your profile:

  • User focused individual who keeps the customer at the heart of everything we do, while having strong business awareness.
  • A go-getter who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and dives into a project to achieve success by problem solving.
  • Eager to learn and aware that valuable information can come from both positive and negative results through experimentation.
  • Passionate about product development and constantly looking for ways to improve it.
  • Open minded team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Agile and innovative with the tenacity to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
  • Self-motivated and results driven with a take charge attitude to manage the development cycle of a product.
  • Friendly, knowledgeable, and motivational to others.

Your experience:

  • Extensive experience working across business stakeholders understanding business
    needs and interpreting them into features, roadmaps and MVP
  • Extensive experience working with development teams to communicate change, experience with Agile and other rapid development processes is highly desirable
  • A passion for customers and for delivering new and innovative future digital customer
    journeys and experiences
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across a broad range of business and
    technology stakeholders at all levels
  • A good understanding of the hotel industry would be beneficial

The organisation is based in Oslo and Stockholm and the development team is located in Stockholm. Permanent or frequent presence in Stockholm will be required.

Some travel between our two main offices will be required.

The position reports to Director of Digital Guest Experience.
