Shape the Future of Global Payroll Excellence

Are you a seasoned Payroll Implementation leader with a passion for driving complex projects across global landscapes?

We’re looking for a Senior Payroll Solution Project Manager with deep expertise in implementing scalable, compliant, and efficient payroll systems — especially SAP ECP — to help transform our payroll operations across regions.

This is more than a project management role — it’s your opportunity to be a strategic partner, a solution architect, and a champion of operational excellence.

 

You will work on

  • Lead Global Payroll Projects – Own the full lifecycle of payroll implementations, focusing on SAP ECP, from discovery to go-live and beyond
  • Be the Go-To Expert – Provide functional and technical leadership across design, configuration, migration, testing, and optimization of payroll processes and integrations
  • Drive Strategic Change – Define project goals and success metrics aligned with global business needs. Develop business cases for evolving payroll solutions
  • Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless system integration and data accuracy
  • Ensure Compliance at Every Step – Manage global and local payroll regulations and tax compliance, staying ahead of legal changes
  • Mentor & Influence – Share your knowledge and lead junior team members, setting a high bar for excellence and consistency
  • Standardize & Scale – Promote best practices and drive continuous improvement across the organization’s payroll processes

 

Your qualifications and skills

  • 8+ years of payroll implementation experience, with a strong focus on SAP ECP (SuccessFactors and other payroll platforms are a plus)
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferably in HR, IT or Finance field
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required
  • Proven success managing payroll projects in different countries - from kickoff to delivery
  • Deep understanding of system integrations across payroll, time, HR, and finance systems
  • Expertise in global compliance, reporting, and payroll architecture
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and tools like JIRA, MS Project and/or Excel and PowerPoint, or Smartsheet.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to juggle multiple global initiatives

 

You would also ideally have

  • Experience with middleware platforms like SAP CPI
  • Regional expertise (e.g., Norway, US, Brazil, Germany, France, Hungary)
  • SAP ECP/SuccessFactors certifications
  • PMP, Prince2, or similar project management credentials
  • Knowledge of any other foreign language
