We are looking for 2 skilled technicians to our turbine site, Svåheia, which is located near 4370 Egersund in Norway.

The Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind farms within Denmark and Norway. The department has an open and informal culture, where team work and good communication is the key to our success. Responsibilities
You will be required to develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines to enable you to perform daily maintenance and other field service related tasks. The work consists of the highest safety and environmental standards and you will be part of a team of 2 technicians working at site. Other duties will be to carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas specifications together with component replacement (both electrical and mechanical) and troubleshooting on the systems.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a mechanical, electrical and/or electronics background and will possess a full, clean driving licence. You also have relevant technical experience, preferably electrical or mechanical. Moreover, you will have a formal qualification in one or both of the above and have served an apprenticeship.

Additional information
The initial training period for this role will require travel to Denmark and overnight stays which may be for more weeks at a time. Your meeting point will be at the local warehouse, placed near the turbine site.
Weekly working is 37,5 hours in a normal 5 day week. Additonal on call duty scheme can be relevant in the future. You may also be asked to support other regions if required by the business.
