To reflect the companys ambitious strategy, by strengthening the Project Department, we are seeking the ideal candidate to fulfill the role of Project Manager
Main tasks and goals for the position:
As Project Manager you will be responsible for Project Management of newbuilding(s) and conversion projects bringing the company forward. You will be a look out for new innovations and developments of technical nature
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical projects under the responsibility of the Project Department
- Participate & Support (Technical) in sales & marketing and business development activities / projects
- Contribute with technical support and feasibility studies towards existing fleet and general technical development projects
- Assess new innovations and developments of technical nature that may aid the company in developing new and attractive products and solutions
- Support the operational department during technical investigations
Qualification requirements:
- Minimum Masters degree from reputable university
- Minimum 10 years of experience within ship technology / ship design
- Senior experience as Project Manager or similar
- Experience within automation/DP and power systems
- International experience is required: preferably Europe and/or Asia
- Experience in class, flag and operational requirements and procedures
- Good knowledge of rules, regulations and class requirements
For the position the below expertise / experience will be a benefit and preferred:
- Offshore and wind service operation vessels, SPS, Walk to work
- Offshore Support vessel, Subsea Construction vessel (IMR / SURF)
- Offshore vessel, dynamic positioning
- Seismic Towing and bottom seismic
- Ice class / Ice breaking support vessels
- Expedition & Research vessels
- International experience is required: preferably Europe and/or Asia
Personal qualities:
- Experience and solid presentation and communication skills, Norwegian and English
- Self-motivated and able to motivate team members
- Well developed communication and leadership skills
- Quality oriented and analytic
- Cope with high workload
